New to excercise

Postby mqzy » Mon Apr 13, 2009 9:12 am

I got a Wii fit 2 weeks ago and been using it for the free step etc for about an hour a day. I'm very unfit, cant run etc. How can i build up to be able to run. Im reall self concious about jogging because i have big ish boobs and they just hurt when i run/jog even a fast paced walk can be painful. Any ideas?
How effective is the wii fit and the free step? Is there a way i can work out what ive burned of doing the free step at all

I personally have never used the Wii fit but I have heard that it is very effective. It keeps the exercising fun. One thing I had heard people say isn't that they were losing so much weight but rather gaining more muscle which is great too because that will speed up your metabolism so you are burning more calories at rest. Is the Wii fit fun? Does it keep you motivated to continue working out?

As you have said that you are conscious about jogging because of your big boobs I would like to suggest instead of jogging you can do cycling. It really works and with it do little bit of jogging too. I have seen my friend it had the same problem but now she has changed a lot.

That is a great idea I have heard that cycling is very good for you. During the summers I love taking bike rides, you forget that you are even working out and I definately notice my legs tightening up, I imagine it is a lot easier on your body as well and gets your heart rate up.
