Recommended Fruits and Vegetables

If you eat a 2,000 calorie diet every day, it is recommended that you eat approximately 4 to 5 cups of fruits and vegetables every day:

Fruit every day - approximately 2 to 2 and 1/2 cups.

Vegetables every day - approximately 2 to 2 and 1/2 cups.

It is also recommended that you eat 1/2 cup of beans or peas most days, such as 4 to 5 times a week.
